National Museum of Women in the Arts

The National Museum of Women in the Arts has a permanent collection of over 3,000 works by women artists from the 16th century to the present.

You can browse the collection by artist or by century. For each artist there is a profile and a portfolio showing the art work that is in the museum collection.

The NMWA also has several important special collections, including silver by 18th and 19th century Irish and English women silversmiths.
