Lots of restaurants have plastic models of the food they serve right there in the window where you can check them out, prices and all, and decide what's for lunch or dinner.
Some of the plastic food is gorgeous. Some of it's a bit scary-looking (bad plastic food looks REALLY bad), but the food is almost always nicely presented, even in the smallest places.
You'll see this often, at everything from fast/cheap vending machine eateries to fairly nice restaurants.
If you can actually read the card and order when you go in, you'll make quite an impression.
If not, and if they're not TOO busy, you can motion the cashier to come out to the window and point at what you want.
