This course is offered to students at Ursuline Academy for the Summer Session 2018. Students will learn to express their artistic ideas using a digital camera. This course will be a mixture of lecture, discussion, research, writing and fieldwork. Participants will explore the history of photography with a special emphasis on photojournalism and portraiture. Each student will complete a photo essay expressing her ideas about her community and her place in it.
